Weight loss medication and hormone replacement therapy/hormonal contraception:

For patients using injectable weight loss medication prescribed by private providers, it is important to be aware that this can have an impact on the effectiveness of HRT and hormonal contraceptives, if any component of these are being taken orally. Please make an appointment to discuss your medication with a GP if this applies to you and you have not already discussed this with a clinician.
